Trying to escape her broken past, Sarah O’Neill is building a new life on the fringes of a backwood rural town with her young son Chris. A terrifying encounter with a mysterious neighbour shatters her fragile security, throwing Sarah into a spiralling nightmare of paranoia and mistrust, as she tries to uncover if the disturbing changes in her little boy are connected to an ominous sinkhole buried deep in the forest that borders their home.

The hole in the ground, presents itself with an aesthetic highlight of cinematography, settings and locations. but with high quality on the technical stuff the story comes to a halt, and you start asking yourself why, howcome,and havent i seen this before - questions. its a waiting horror story were the real psycho horror doesnt show at all.

i guess it shall reflect a disturbed mothers sole, afraid of everything that might hurt her child which accumulatesn into, suspicious noises, headbanging,and allsorts of visual hallusinations. either its hormonal due to dysfunctional menstruation, or its in her genes as a mitocondrial chit-chatery, leaving us gubmouthingly obsessed. the flying bodies are quite inspirational, do watch that in slow motion....... just beware to press the ffwd button afterwards.

its a slow but not at all boring irish, finnish and a lot of more product.i will say that 6 is maks for this horror drama.

It's boring movie I was skipped some scenes , the story doesn't impress there's nothing interesting or unexpected
